This is Mei Xiang Hua, soon to be Max LaBorde Maas, at about 6 months old.
Dianjiang and Meizhou
David was born in Dianjiang County in the municipality of Chongqing (blue arrow). Max is waiting for us in Meizhou in Guangdong Province (red arrow).
Oh the Places He's Been

We went to the "Pandy House" last night and they do serve waffles! Dad had a plain waffle in Grandma Zieg's memory. Leslie's hair is still curly; Grandma Zieg's high school was for girls only, the waffle was well done (or done well), and since it was evening, no one needed to be at work!
Dad figured that Whitfield was playing the organ, Aunt Catherine was singing "St Louis Women," Zieg was enjoying CTH (cocktail hour), and St. Peter was wondering who let those people in!
