Early intervention
Yesterday David put on a show for the developmental and speech therapists from Illinois' early intervention program who came out to do a follow up evaluation. We are pleased to report that, at the age of 29 months, his expressive language is at the 30 month level and his receptive language scored at the 33 month level, making him normal and age appropriate. I guess we can stop obsessing over his speech. For now.

Yay for David! I am so glad you wrote on his speech...not so many people do. I do obsess over MK's speech though they continue to tell me (and the tests show) that she is right on target....however, her articulation is showing some wear and tear and the therapist is beginning to see that as well. She has a great vocab and will try to say anything yet it doesn't always sound great. Time will tell I guess :)
I KNEW he'd pass the speech eval with FLYING COLORS!!! YAY, David! Yay for his smartie parents too!
