Time to get our Peking duck on

We leave for China in less than 14 hours!!! With the exception of some toiletries, our bags are packed. Kevin has given Adams a 64 page document describing in great detail how to best care for the dogs, which I can only assume he will give Snoopy to chew on after we leave. Probably not a bad idea if it keeps her from eating pens, rocks and the furniture for a little while. We'll update you as often as we can. Thanks to everyone for their well wishes! Next stop: Beijing.

I have graciously volunteered to check on Kevin's seats at Wrigley Field twice while he is away...Today (05/01/08), was a lovely day for baseball with temps in the mid-60's and a nice breeze off the lake...Unfortunately, Kerry Wood blew an easy save opportunity by giving up 3 runs in the 9th inning and the Cubs lost to the Brewers by a score of 4-3...As an added bonus, today was field trip day in section 534, so we got to enjoy the game with countless teens from Worth Junior High (Go Wildcats!)...Have fun in China!!!...Go Cubs!!!...
